When landscape becomes an experience

22 July 2022

Erlebnisplan thinks around corners and always finds new solutions. "We create stories that can be experienced," says Matthias Imdorf, co-founder of Lucerne-based creative agency Erlebnisplan. "They are often told in a multisensory way: visual, haptic and auditory." Learn more about the daily work of our experience planners in the interview with Matthias Imdorf and Philipp Berweger in the current HTR issue. Thank you Claudia Langenegger for this great article!

Natural cycles in orbits – a change of perspective

22 July 2022

The old war game of "nature conservation versus adventure economy on the mountain" has had its day. Our own guiding and enemy images need to be corrected accordingly. How people can be sensitized to natural cycles via orbits, how mountain railroads are increasingly becoming the actual showcase of sustainable action and work - more about this in the article of the current Mountain Manager by Matthias Imdorf.

Zappelbär Search Game, Arosa

31 January 2022

On behalf of @Arosa Bergbahnen, we have developed one of the first and currently only staged search games for winter sports enthusiasts in the Tschuggen area. The fidget bear search game creates another attraction format around the theme of bears in the all-year-round destination of Arosa.

The young snow sports enthusiasts help the fidgety bear to get tired during a post run with skis or a snowboard and finally get some rest for the winter.

At the individual wind- and weatherproof posts, the aim is to collect stamps in the form of punches. Once all the stamps have been collected on the game card, the fidget bear is ready for winter rest and the children receive a fine reward in the Tschuggenhütte or Brüggerstuba restaurants.

Nature a place of resonance

24 September 2021

Nature has become synonymous with a healthy, good life. Digitalisation, technological and social innovations open up new possibilities, new multilocal lifestyles and new symbioses between city and country, work and holidays. The counter-trend to urbanisation is in full swing and many rural regions are potential beneficiaries. Likewise, ecological change and the challenges of global warming offer new development options for (pre)Alpine regions. Together with our partners from the fields of economic and location development and spatial planning, we have made it our task to identify and develop attractive locations and to demonstrate financing and operating models so that they can exploit their potential and develop their quality of life. Landscape as a destination of longing

23 September 2021

The landscape is the original reason for tourism. For us, the preservation of landscape quality is therefore the indispensable foundation of a sustainable development strategy. Through symbiosis of mediation, preservation and orientation, we bring the experience potential of the landscape to fruition and contribute to the creation of identity. Nature serves us on the one hand as a resource and design object and at the same time as a resonance space. Nature has even become a synonym for quality of life. Accompanied by respectful treatment of this valuable asset, we see development options not only in the tourist environment but also in living spaces. The topic in our current newsletter. 5th anniversary Olten LiteraTour

1 September 2021

Swiss Authors' Path, Olten (CH): A town of internationally renowned writers lets its guests and residents alike feel the literary heartbeat.
*
The success story of the Olten LiteraTour city and the Swiss Writers' Trail began in 2016. For its 5th anniversary, this interactive theme trail in the urban context was enriched with an exciting crime tour and word-acrobatic short stories.
*
Olten authors Alex Capus, Franz Hohler, Pedro Lenz and other writers entice you to walk and listen on audio tours. The stories are read aloud by the people themselves and are closely linked to the personality and location.
*
Thanks to @oltentourismus, we were able to accompany this project from the first idea sketch, creation of the Olten LiteraTour brand, to the development and implementation of the touchpoints and recently with the expansion of the content! A profile-raising offer where local players not only recognise themselves, but also actively contribute.

Judihui! Switzerland’s first yodelling trail is opened.

18 August 2021

Dare to do a trouser slip in the sawdust, chat your way through various yodelling techniques or listen to yodelling tones on your smartphone using QR codes: this and much more can be experienced on Switzerland's first yodelling trail!
*
Curious? The approximately 3-hour interactive theme trail with breathtaking views in St. Stephan im Simmental has been open to everyone since last weekend. And by that we mean EVERYONE: the yodelling trail is barrier-free, suitable for prams and wheelchairs and can be experienced in three languages: DE, FR and EN.
*
Since generation of the initial idea in 2017, when Ueli Moor, the nationally renowned yodelling composer and conductor, took the initiative and wanted to share his passion for yodelling and alpine culture, @erlebnisplan was allowed to be part of it. From the rough and detailed concept, technical planning of each component, children's level, to graphics and content preparation: respectfully, all people involved, as well as nature and animals, were included. In this way, the three key themes 🎶Yodelling🎶, 🌳Nature🌳 and 🕺Ueli🕺 became a triad that could be experienced by the general public.

Our latest project online at HTR.ch

17 August 2021

A piece of Alpine culture can be experienced interactively with the recently opened and first yodelling trail of Switzerland. The aim was to anchor the vocal art of yodelling in a themed trail and bring it closer to the general public. We yodel for joy! 🥳

Opening new Glaciers Experience Trail

12 August 2021

Glaciers Experience Trail, Diavolezza (CH): Within reach of the glacier
*
High moraines characterise the landscape and show us where the Morteratsch glacier was in 1860. The fabulous hike along five stations thematises the change of the glacier and the visible changes in the sensitive Alpine region. We accompanied the joint project of the municipality of Pontresina, the Bernina Glaciers Association, Corvatsch Diavolezza Lagalb and Bergsteigerschule Pontresina GmbH from conception to realisation including illustration of the leaflet, which accompanies visitors on the nature trail.
*
Glacier retreat is a major concern in Switzerland, but also worldwide. With the #MortAlive project, a delay of 50 years could be possible. We at @erlebnisplan are grateful to motivate visitors with the newly created offer to tackle this sensitive topic with joy.
